Online payments
Payments, deposits, guarantees with a saved card and refunds. Card details are always typed into the certified gateway, never into a screen of ours. We only store the brand and the last four digits.
Invoicing with Veri*Factu
Full accounts for every hotel: invoices, expenses, customers and the filing with the Spanish tax authority (AEAT), reachable from the dashboard itself without logging in again.
AI document scanning
Fields extracted from a photo of an ID card or passport. Images are deleted once the data has been read. It is optional: check-in works fine without it.
Your own outbound email
Guest emails go out through your SMTP server, with your domain, your logo and your colour, and every send is logged so you can check what actually went out.
Market data
Competitor rates drawn from hotel search data, feeding the Revenue Insights module. In beta and charged per query.

Frequently asked questions
Can I ask for a channel that is not on the list?
Tell us about it. Adding a channel is a matter of configuration once the underlying connection exists, so it mostly comes down to whether that OTA is available in the distribution network we use.
Do you have a public API?
There is a JSON API for booking engine results and for packages, designed so your website can render them in its own design. A full PMS management API is not available today.
Can I use my own payment gateway?
The engine works with an integrated certified payment gateway. If you take payment another way, you can work in "pay at the hotel" mode and record payments manually in the PMS, including cash, card terminal, bank transfer and Bizum.
I already work with a channel manager. Do I have to switch?
No. If you work with SiteMinder or with GNA Hotel Solutions, Hostelum connects to them in both directions: bookings flow into the PMS, and availability and rates flow out to your channels. Switching channel manager is a decision you can take later on, or not at all.
Which locks work with online check-in?
Nuki, using a keypad PIN, and TTLock/Sciener, with or without a gateway. On completing online check-in, the guest receives their access code without going through reception. If your lock is another brand, tell us: the list grows through requests like yours.
