Packages and experiences

Lift your average ticket without dropping your rate

Bundle nights with what you already have — spa, dinner, late check-out — and sell it as a short break. Or as an open-dated gift voucher someone buys in December and redeems in March.

  • Cross-selling inside every rate plan in the engine
  • Gift vouchers with a booking reference and later redemption
  • A dashboard of experiences sold, with its own metrics

Two ways to sell the same thing

A package includes a number of nights already paid for, for a number of people. From there you can offer it inside the booking flow, when the customer is already choosing dates, or sell it on its own as a gift so they pick dates later.

Cross-selling

It appears exactly where the customer is deciding

On the results page, inside each rate plan, the engine offers the experience. If the customer takes it, the package covers the first nights and adds its price; the remaining nights are charged at the normal rate. The total is recalculated instantly and revalidated on the server.

  • The package price always comes from the database, never from the browser
  • Independent sales and stay windows: you can sell in November for February

Gift voucher

Bought without dates, redeemed when it suits

The public landing page shows your experiences with a gallery, what is included, terms and cancellation policy. The customer buys and receives a booking reference. That voucher blocks no availability and has no dates: the booking is created later, when they redeem it.

  • Redeemed with booking reference and email; the voucher is claimed atomically so it cannot be used twice
  • In redemption mode the engine only offers that package, marked as paid
  • If the customer indicated preferred dates, you can send them a direct redemption link

Management

You know what you have sold and what is still to deliver

The experiences dashboard gives you sales in euros, what is still to be redeemed, what has been redeemed and what went unpaid. Every voucher with its customer, its preferred dates flagged as a preference rather than a booking, and its actions.

  • Copy the redemption link, mark as redeemed, cancel or restore
  • When it is redeemed, you see the booking reference of the resulting booking

Frequently asked questions

Does the voucher expire?

You decide the stay window for the package, and that is what sets how long it can be enjoyed. You can also cancel or restore vouchers manually from the dashboard.

Can I sell packages without using the booking engine?

The public landing page and direct purchase work on their own, and there is an embeddable snippet for your website. Redemption, on the other hand, does go through the engine, because that is where dates are chosen and the booking is created.

How does a voucher balance in the accounts?

The voucher payment is recorded in the online payment transactions list at the moment of sale, and the booking is generated later, on redemption. They are two separate events, which is exactly what they are in real life too.
