Boutique hotels
If your hotel has character, your booking engine cannot look generic
A boutique hotel competes on experience, not on price. The problem is that half of that experience is built by an OTA that takes its commission and hands you back a guest who never quite becomes yours.

The same night, sold two ways
It is not only about margin. It changes who owns the relationship with the guest, and that decides whether next year they come back through you or go back to the same search box.
| Through the channel | Through your own engine | |
|---|---|---|
| Commission | Whatever that channel has agreed | None. The engine is included in the subscription |
| Whose guest it is | The channel’s. Often the real email never reaches you | Yours, with their record and history in your own database |
| What they see when booking | Your hotel beside twenty others, sorted by price | Your brand, your photos and your words, with no competition alongside |
| What you can sell them | The room | The room, and also packages and gift vouchers |
| Next time | They go back to the channel’s search | You have their email and can write to them yourself |
| Who sets the terms | The channel, and they change when it decides | You |
Sound familiar?
- The booking engine that came with your website looks like it belongs to another hotel
- You sell an experience and they book it as if it were a bed
- Packages and gift vouchers are handled over WhatsApp and a separate sheet
- Commission eats precisely the margin that justifies your price
- Every room is different and the software only understands “standard double”
What changes
An engine that looks like yours
Your logo, your image, your headline and your colour, with each day’s price in plain sight. And no commission on direct bookings.
Packages and gift vouchers
Bundle nights with dinner or spa and sell it inside the engine itself, or on its own as an open-dated voucher somebody redeems in March.
Every room type, with its own page
Photos, description and amenities per room type, which then travel to the channel listings as well.
Meeting spaces
If you rent the terrace, the private dining room or the spa by the hour, it gets its own diary without mixing into room availability.
Frequently asked questions
Does the booking engine look like part of my site?
It carries your logo, your header image, your headline and your colour, and embeds as a widget in the website you already have. What there is not today is a custom domain for the engine: the booking is completed on a domain of ours.
Can I set different cancellation policies per rate?
Not today. The cancellation policy is one per hotel, not configurable rate by rate. If you run a non-refundable and a flexible rate side by side, it is worth talking first.
Can I sell extras at the moment of booking?
Packages yes: a getaway with dinner or spa is sold as a product inside the engine. What does not exist is adding loose extras at the final checkout step, along the lines of “add parking” or “add a bottle of cava”.
What languages does the guest see the engine in?
The widget is in Spanish and English. The engine language is set per hotel, but it is not multilingual with a picker for the guest, so if your clientele is mostly French or German it is worth knowing in advance.
What if every room really is different?
That is exactly the case it is for. Each type carries its own photos, description and amenities, and that information travels to the channel listings too, so you do not maintain it twice.
